Joseph P Rem Jr. Esq. is an attorney with offices in Hackensack New Jersey, part of the RemWeisKatcherDuarte Law Firm. He began his career in 1975 clerking for criminal judge Bruno L. Leopizzi, J.S.C. Midway through his clerking experience he joined the Office of the Passaic County Prosecutor where he remained for 3 years trying numerous and varied criminal cases. He was a member of the first class of inductees into the Certified Criminal Trial Attorney Program in 1981.
He is the former President of the Bergen County Bar Association, a former Bergen County Lawyer of the Year, and a former member of the Supreme Court Rules Committee and the Bergen County Ethics Committee and is currently the Chairman of the New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Municipal Court Trial Committee.
He is a frequent lecturer on matters of municipal court and criminal law, and often lectures with Robert J Ramsey, Esq., founder of Garden State Continuing Legal Education.
Mr. Rem is an avid fan of both the Mets and Jets but asks for no sympathy or pity.
